About Linton Youth Music
Linton Youth Music is an educational branch of Linton Music Society which runs both Linton Music Series and the youth programme. LYM aims to encourage children and young people to engage with the arts by bringing performances aimed at young people and workshops. Opportunities for children and young people to take part in music are quintessential to LYM and therefore very small charges or no charges are made for their events. Donations to Linton Youth Music are very important for it's continued work so please get in touch if you would like to contribute to its cause.

Hänsel and Gretel in Linton
A fantastic short version of Engelbert Humperdinck’s opera for children was performed by the Cambridge based Lepetit Ensemble arranged for a narrator, small orchestra and children’s choir for a entranced audience on the 23rd June 2019.
In connection with Linton Music Series' guitar recital on the 11th May LYM hosted Morgan Szymanski for an exciting and engaging Guitar and Ukulele Workshop on Friday 10th May.
Morgan is a very experienced music educator and has his own educational outreach project in Mexico called Prisma Mexico.
